Carole Moore McLeod Entrepreneur Summit

Appalachian State University’s Entrepreneur Summit brings together entrepreneurs, students, alumni, and community members, all focused on real‑world entrepreneurship. Hosted by the Transportation Insight Center for Entrepreneurship in the Walker College of Business and named for Carole Moore McLeod, the annual summit is a day full of practical insight and connection. Experienced business owners and leaders share what they’ve learned from building, growing, and navigating change, and breakout sessions help students think critically about ideas, careers, and the realities of starting and owning a business. Held on App State’s Boone campus, the summit is open to students and the public, with no fee to attend.
