CALLING ALL CAMPUS CLUBS!

When involved in a student organization on campus, you may be asking questions such as "Do we need to incorporate into an official organization?" and "How should we be reporting our finances the government?" Luckily, this clinic will answer all of these questions and more. Learn the ins and outs from an attorney and a CPA.

Liability re: members' participation in organization's activities

Signed liability waivers/ releases – Create/ use a model? Review individually?

Guidelines for soliciting donations, giveaways, sales, charging admission, etc. – ASU policy and state law
Student Legal Clinic attorney review of contracts (individual consultation)
Guide for when sales tax must be collected and what to do with it
Information about bank accounts and financial records/record keeping
Referrals to resources that can assist with financial issues
