The Association of Student Entrepreneurs

This student run organization brings more than a dozen entrepreneur guest speakers to campus each year and sponsors numerous entrepreneurship activities. All students are welcome to join meetings. Fall meetings will be held every other Wednesday in the bottom floor of Raley Hall at 5:30pm! The next ASE meeting will be held on September 19th.

BootstrAPPs

BootstrAPPs, formerly known as the E-Store, is a student run retail store in the University Bookstore for AppState student entrepreneurs to explore their product's potential in a university driven market. Students run the store, sell their unique products in the store, and learn about different aspects of running a business in a real world, hands-on setting. [ more ]

Dale Tweedy Mentoring Program for Entrepreneur Scholars

Thanks to a generous multi-year commitment from Dale Tweedy, this year long mentoring program has been designed to provide students access to successful role models to help them achieve success. Mentors are recruited and matched based on student interests. [ more ]

Pitch Your Idea in 90 Seconds Contest

During this annual event, students compete for cash prizes in an elevator pitch style competition. Prizes are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and for best presentation.

Student Entrepreneur of the Year

The Appalachian State University Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award is presented each spring semester to an Appalachian undergraduate student who has exhibited exceptionally meritorious entrepreneurial achievement.
